 Q:"Why do you not advertise your cakes as Gluten-Free?."

The strict new labelling laws for gluten-free food for gluten-free food which came in to force in 2012 mean to make this claim I would have to test my cakes and this would add to the cost.  Great care is taken in the production of my cakes to minimise the possibility of cross-contamination. Having a coeliac in the family I practice this daily and fully appreciate the trust coeliacs place in food providers

Q: "Do you charge more because your cakes are made without gluten ['gluten free']?"

A: A key aim when starting Simply Sublime was to provide handmade cakes without the premium often charged by other providers. The pricing of my cakes reflects the amount of time and care invested in making a special handmade cake.

Q: "Do you offer cakes made with regular wheat flour?"

A: No. I only create cakes without gluten to minimize the risk of cross contamination. Many of my customers are not gluten intolerant or coeliac they just like my cakes.
